The human rearray is constructed using 32,855 clones from RPCI-11, RPCI-13, Caltech-D BAC libraries. The set achieves an average depth of coverage of 1.8X, average effective resolution of 76 kb. Genome-adjacent clones in the set overlap by an average of 73 kb. The set provides coverage of 98% of the human hg17 (May 2004) genome assembly and 98% of the human May 2005 BAC fingerprint map. The clone set is publically available from BACPAC Resources. Please contact Pieter J. de Jong for details of how to obtain a copy of the set. The current version of the set is 1.1.
